Moving forward

It's hard to believe it's been seven months since my husband passed.  Slowly but surely things are calming down, life is moving on.  I began the year half a million dollars in debt and believe me, I felt every bit of it on my shoulders.  By the end of the year I believe it will be down to $10,000.   It's been a difficult time, I've had to make a ( Read more... )

Hon... I'd definitely call it a miracle too and hopefully a sign that your fortunes are changing for the better. I know I've said it before but your strength and determination are awe-inspiring and you should rightly feel very proud of everything you've accomplished so far.

I hope everything goes through with the house sale quickly and that you find a new home you'll be happy in. I can't believe it's been seven months either, but you've been in my thoughts and prayers often.

A miracle? Definitely. Would it be okay if I add a prayer or two for you? I firmly believe that all prayers are answered in one way or another.

I hope you find a wonderful new home that's even more to your liking than the old one and that the sale goes through quickly.

I have so much admiration for you.

Thank you so much. I never turn away a pray on said on my behalf. This definitely isn't the first time I've had an answer to my prayers. It's very conforting to know that I'm not alone in this life that is turning out to be so different from the one my husband and I planned. I've not only had to mourn his loss, but also the loss of our growing old together. I miss my friend, companion and lover. But the sad truth is, life goes on, even if you don't know how it possibly can. I'm stronger today than I was two months ago. I hope by December I'll be even stronger than I am today. Thank you, dear, for your prayers. They, and you, are very much appreciated.

Hello my friend. It's been so long since we chatted. I hope everything is going well for you. How's the family? Thank you for the thoughts and prayers. Frankly, I'm amazed at how things are turning out. As I said, I've felt guided and protected from on high. A couple of weeks after Blaine passed, I found a small piece of paper on the entry table with four words printed in his handwriting. Courage, Charity, Faith, Patience. I felt he was sending me a message, that these were attributes that would see me though the dark days. They did, and even now I have to remind myself to not get discouraged. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel now. Thanks for droping me a line. Take care.

Oh wow! The power of prayer never ceases to amaze me. Miracles can happen - how else would he know the exact amount you needed for one of your card debts? Like sw0rdy says, it's awe-inspiring.

I didn't make the connection to the amount the check was made out for and the one credit card debt until after he left. And then I felt so overwhelmed knowing I truly wasn't alone. I've always believed in the power of prayer, and have prayed all my life. What a wonderous thing it is to have those beliefs confirmed.

Prayers DO work... Miracles DO happen... And angels come disguised as friends, acquaintances, and even strangers on the street! I've had you in my prayers since I read about what happened. Your strength is really amazing and an inspiration to all of us.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I think I'm being blessed because of all the prayers uttered on behalf of me and my family. I've seen prayer work before, and several times since my husband passed. I've truly been blessed. I don't feel strong or even capable. What I am is a woman who has to go on. I don't have a choice. I have children and dogs who need me to overcome my grief and continue living. Somehow, I am, even though I didn't see how it could be done.

That is ABSOLUTELY a miracle. No one can tell me that we don't have with Good Orderly Direction over our world, hm? G.O.D for short. ^.~

You have an angel watching over you, and I don't think there is any question who it is.
