House 55

[ House 55 actually has a fireplace in it, and someone is sure to have started a fire in there recently, although it may be 2am, so it's probably low key.

Derek's come in from wandering outside in the woods for a little bit. He's a good survivalist, but coffee is not something easy to get when you're roughing it out in the trees. Once he's made some and has a cup, he'll wander out into the living room.

And pause at the sight of...what is that on the rug?

He'll take a sip of the coffee, put the mug on the nearby coffee table, and crouch down to study this...unexpected house guest.]

House 55

[Perry is still fast asleep and looking quite content. If Derek is already familiar with the animals, it's painfull obvious that Perry looks quite unlike your average Platypus. He's blue and a lot cuter, for one. He also has the trademark Filial wings, indicating that he is very much a resident as opposed to the Luceti wildlife.]

House 55

[Hmn. Up until he notes the wings, Derek is assuming a Luceti critter managed to get in. Once he sees the wings, though, he figures it out. Quietly, he makes his way into his own room.

He's back in a few minutes with a pillow and a blanket. The pillow he carefully places near Perry's head; the blanket is gently placed over him. That done, Derek will take another sip of coffee and head for the bathroom; he needs a shower and to shave off the not-quite-a-beard he's got going. He'll be back in a few minutes.]

House 55 1/2

[As soon as the blanket is placed over his back, Perry stirs. He opens his eyes just in time to see Derek leaving the room. It isn't someone he's seen around the village before, but it doesn't seem like a bad guy. Then his gaze falls onto the pillow.]

[Winry had left the window open because sometimes the dry heat provided by the heaters is a little too much. When she returns from closing the window she half expected on of Al's cats to be curled up by the heater, but no. Instead it was that funny blue animal from before, at the clothing store.]

[Perry blearily opens one eye to gaze up at Winry. When he trespassed into her house, he honestly didn't know it was hers. Then he waits patiently. Is she going to kick him out?]

Didn't I tell you it was getting cold outside? [She kneels down and ruffles the fur on the top of his head a little bit.]

Are you hungry?

[He produces his trademark chattering sound in response. Perry is indeed getting hungry.]

[Perry will definitely like Etna's apartment, because while Etna is out doing Etna things, her idiotic Prinny will actually give Perry food with a bit of a "dood" sound, assuming he's a guest for Etna. The demon eventually comes home, though.]

What the hell are you supposed to be?

[When the Prinny comes to bring Perry some food, he assumes that the penguinish creature is the owner of the apartment. A very hospitable owner. That's why he eats the food gratefully, before settling down somewhere warm and dry. Preferably the couch.

And then Etna came home. Perry gazes up at her, but doesn't make a sound.]

[Etna gazes down at the strange animal in front of her. Normally, she'd want to beat the crap out of it, but what the hell is this thing? ...obviously not an animal. It has wings.]

So, you gonna give me a good explanation for this?

[Explanation? Uhhhh. He does have one, but he'd rather not give it. So he'll just continue to stare.]

[Stare. It's the kind girl from the Welcome Center. Perry wasn't expecting to run into her, but it's a nice surprise.]

[He looks perfectly fine! A little skinny now that he isn't getting his fancy platypus food anymore, but still very much a healthy animal. He doesn't seem to mind that she's looking him over, either.]

[Emil has gotten used to many, many strange occurrences during his two years in Luceti. Coming back home to find a strange blue creature curled up in front of the fireplace, however, is odd even to him, and he's just going to stop and stare for a moment.]

[Perry is deep in dreamland and looking quite content. Who knows what he's dreaming of? Must be something nice, because every so often his paws contract.

Dare you wake him, Emil?]

[Emil won't, but Sial will, trotting over with hackles slightly raised to find out just who the heck this is taking HIS spot in front of the fire.]

[As Sial approaches, Perry slowly awakens. Then he becomes fully conscious and his eyes snap open to come face to face with a... Cat? A small lion? Something like that, anyway. He starts and jumps back, landing on his hind legs. He's about to assume a defensive position, but spots Emil almost immediately and sinks down on all fours to look innocent.]
