It has been so long since I turned these pages. They have a fragrance of the sands, of age. This, a simple purchase from the Dalmascan bazaar, was always my favourite tale. So easily could I lose myself within, and I shall do so again, willingly.

We must find it where we can, in a place such as this. Or make our own.

Yes, but... they are not suited for the climate here. I am hoping, with Yorda's aid, they will grow.

Thank you, that is kind. In my world, they grow within the sands of the desert, yet soil may prove effective.

Do you find seed?

Bulbs - Galbana Lily bulbs. I have no skill with plants, yet I used to watch the palace gardener at work, and recognise them for what they are.

They are used to warmer weather, and grow in sand. Do you think you could plant them?

And you, Johnny - what did you receive?

Ah, you didn't hear me the other day? I received a powerful new guitar and a book of songs.

Oh - yes, I did hear you. I had forgotten, having had so much on my mind of late. I look forward to hearing you play, and I shall make a point of listening.

Whilst it may not be appreciated by all, to me, their worth is beyond measure. It feels like such a long time since I read something which did not involve legislation.

...I must learn to improve my technical skills.

Thank you.

[ooc:ACK I totally read it as 'hackable' XDDD I'M SORRY ~fails~ clean_cuffs October 5 2008, 19:09:12 UTC
Mm, what is life without flights of fancy and tales of trouble? Ivalice would be a boring place were it not for it's wealth of mystery and imagination.

I'd fall to my knees when the day comes that all mysteries of the universe are solved and naught left to speculation.

What book might I ask?

I doubt you have read it, but... It is a tale told by my people, of a man who was blinded and sought to find his way in the world and overcome every challenge in his path.

I would recommend it.

A favourite of mine. Our literature is very diverse; when I have finished, you may lend it if you wish.
