Ah, it is simply a little fun. Deep down, I've found kids and adults alike enjoy being scared in a safe environment, just to experience the feeling.

Hmm... I can't say I've ever found enjoyment in fear. Then again, none of the environments I were in whilst afraid were remotely safe.
