Much of my time of late has been spent upon tasks important on a daily basis; making water, securing sources of food... maintaining cleanliness. It all seems so... irrelevant, somehow, in relation to the goal we assume the Scientists wish us to achieve; the restoration of Discedo. ...A city requires more than stone and plaster to thrive. It needs commitment. People who are devoted to it, who would give their all, even their lives, in its name.
Are there any among our number who feel like that? Even if there were, it could take years to accomplish such a task... perhaps I do the right thing, to focus upon the short term. I... honestly don't know.
