[About CEO Park Dongyi:]About CEO Park DongyiThe CEO is an elusive person, and rarely shows himself in public, if ever. Head of a vast empire that has dealings in both chickens and aircraft, he decided to form DY Ent to groom young talent into giants of the entertainment industry in 2007. At best an eccentric individual, Park has a natural aptitude for business, and is known for his trust in his employees. They are often given free reign in their work, as he values personal development above financial gain, which has so far paid off well for his business.
[About Dog:]About DogDog is CEO Park's mongrel, though his owner prefers to call him a one-of-a-kind pure breed. Simply named Dog, he is impossible to photograph despite his frequent visits to Park's various buildings and the best efforts of his master's employees. Various pictures of him have been drawn as a result. Many swear that he is more than a dog, given his knack for sniffing out the goings on in and around the company. A generally friendly creature, he is the DY Ent mascot and messenger of his master's announcements.
[Company Policies:]Company PoliciesSchedules ◦ You are expected to follow the schedule given to you by the company. On top of that, class attendance for the school going members of the agency is also required. Those who under perform in school will be given a warning and can request a tutor to help them out.
Relationships ◦ The company has no strict rules on dating, and does not bar anyone from doing so. A high level of discreetness is expected (particularly in the eyes of the public) as scandals are to be avoided.
As per the contract, pregnancies are forbidden, and any artiste or trainee found pregnant or to have gotten someone pregnant will be dealt with severely.
[Becoming a Part of DY Ent:]Becoming a Part of DY EntAuditions and Scouting ◦ Twice a year, DY Ent holds global auditions in countries such as Korea, China, Japan and the United States. Only the best are called back for a second round of auditions, which include further interviews judged by a panel of DY employees. If deemed worthy, they will be offered a contract. DY Ent also does frequent scoutings, and agents are always on the lookout for talent on the streets. Once scouted, they will still be required to audition.
[Debuting:]DebutingEvery month, there will be an opportunity for trainees to debut. Along with the activity check will be a short list of talents the company are looking to debut in the following month. Once they have been selected to debut, these trainees will each receive a premade that you can either make yourself or request from the mods. If debuting as a group, the group name may be decided upon by the members, though the group concept will be decided by the agency.
[Gigs and Activities:]Gigs and ActivitiesIn the middle of the month, the agency will release a general schedule for its artistes. These range from showcases or concerts for their idols and soloists, to acting stints or fashion weeks for their actors and models. Trainees are to train according to their schedule.
Mentor/Mentee Program ◦ Trainees will be assigned a mentor from the company's pool of established artistes. These mentors will rotate every month. Trainees under a mentor are to get to know and learn from him/her, and sometimes act as their assistants during schedules.
