No matter how hot it is, don't wear shorts to the dog park. Scratch/bruise combos are not fun.

ew this was almost like a twitter entry

I know! Well I'd just been observing about how recently there hadn't been any excitable dogs crashing into me at the park (I've almost gotten knocked over before) and since it was like 103 out I thought it'd be safe to wear shorts. WRONG!

I kept meaning to tell you last night that you should wear shorts/ skirts more often! You have nice muscular legs. Unfortunately my legs/thighs get about 90% of my fat deposits so I notice these things...when other people have nice legs. So show them off!

Hopefully that didn't sound creepy.

No, not creepy. Thank you! I'm not a huge fan of my legs (SHOCKING, I KNOW) but back when I was in better shape I do think I had decent legs. Actually, the main reason I don't wear shorts/skirts more often is b/c I'm usually too lazy to shave. But this crazy heat is curing me of that fast!

Haha. I am oddly bitter about Twitter. I think b/c I suspect it is stealing away my precious friends from LJ. And I don't want to follow anyone's Twitter. I want to read long, rambly entries, dammit. And leave long, rambly comments for one another. I miss the communication. I know it's POSSIBLE in fewer than 140 characters, but most ppl suck at it and seem to just use Twitter for random shout outs to friends and I dunno why, but I just hate it a lot. Even Facebook is better. FACEBOOK.

I thought I felt like that at first, but while I do like reading long, rambly entries, my desire to write them has decreased dramatically now that spare time has become a more valuable commodity for me. (Especially since even when I was writing long, rambly entries, they were usually just lists of things I'd been doing in paragraph form, so now I can just list them as they happen instead.) And I really like being able to use it from my phone and just dash out a quick thought or find out what my friends are up to no matter where I am or what I'm doing (I'm very bad about intending to post something and then forgetting about it by the time I get home ( ... )
