I have a second pair of them, too (by accident). I was thinking of using them to make shorter wristwarmers *and* a pair of pirate beer cosies. (Hey, I'm in Canada now --they love their beer here.) :)

The cooking blog Pioneer Woman Cooks is what got me all pro-step-by-step instructions. Her pics are better, but I did what I could with what I had.

For someone as visual as I am, it makes a big difference.

Armwarmer-making party!! Let me know if you have any better fixes (what with yr mad sewing skills) for the hem part, too. This was a "hrm, how do I keep this from being annoying and falling apart?" last minute hack....
