1. assemblage 23:
   One of the few bands of this ilk out there that aren't lyrically unfortunate, IMO. "Disappoint" is one of the saddest songs in the world, if you know about who and why he wrote it. "30KFT", it upsets me, I took it off my pod. The crummy turnout for the show here a few years was confusing to me (like, 70 people, half of which were from out of town), but I guess they don't have much of a following in Van
2. covenant:
   Yeah, that last show was a bit too short, what was up with that? (I enjoyed it, but I don't think too many others did)
3. dead can dance:
   See previous post. Awesome live, possibly better than their recordings
4. funker vogt:
   Awesome show, two? years ago. Maschine Zeit is one of my all-time favorite songs, so far.
5. industrial:
   It's a good genre.
6. kraftwerk:
   It was amusing to me to see them now at their age still doing what they do. They are like your cool grandpa.
7. melotron:
   The fact that I can't understand what the hell they are singing about is irrelevant. The music is awesome, and the singer looks like a hot young Dave Gahan. I know people refer to And One as Germany's Depeche Mode, but I think it should be these guys.
8. new wave:
   When I was a teen, I always tended to lean towards this stuff, despite being put down for doing so, by "friends", no less.
9. seabound:
   My new favorite, more EBM, and I'm beginning to think I'm one of the few in town that likes this stuff.
10. the brak show:
    The only non-musical interest to pop up. This may or may not be shown on Teletoon anymore. It is a spin-off of a spin-off of an old 1960's crappily animated Hanna Barbera cartoon called Space Ghost, and Brak, some sort of space cat, was one of his enemies. In the 90's there was Space Ghost Coast-to Coast in which Space Ghost the superhero had his own talk show, using only the animation from the old show, it seems. They then created The Brak Show, with Brak as a dumb teenager, who lives with his mom and dad, mom being some sort of cat creature, and dad being a shrunken Cuban guy. There is also, Zorak, a large praying mantis, who is Brak's bestest buddy, but treats Brak like shit. This show is wierd and bizarre, and probably not for everyone. Just me, who likes wierd things
