Dear Yuletide Writer...
Aaaah oh my god, I'm so sorry for the lateness of the letter!
Alright, so the basics: I love gen fic when it has to do with family relationships. Love, love love it. That is why two of my prompts are solely gen-fic prompts! That said, I also love twisted terrible relationships and relationships that have gone bad and basically I just love fic that explores how people interact with each other, especially when they've had a long history together. See: fic about old friends who love to hate each other, or estranged siblings and/or parents who come to figure out how to love each other despite their differences.
I don't have many squicks, but I do ask that there be a) no extreme gore or explicitly described rape, and b) no incest in any of the fics, please. Outside of that, go wild!
Now for the more detailed requests:
Elementary
For Elementary, I really would love to see characters interacting with Joan. I love her character, and she is super near and dear to my heart. You are welcome to add Sherlock in if you wish, but what I'd really like is to see her interacting one on one with any or all of the characters I listed! Maybe have Joan and Alfredo on a jaunt through New York, jacking cars and picking locks and discussing how their very different childhoods had striking similarities? Or perhaps Joan and Ms. Hudson could have a polite luncheon together and talk about the difficulties of finding love and keeping it. Or Joan and Marcus could chat about how strange it is to be a person of colour in a very white profession, and how they've had to work hard to get to where they are. Alternately, go wild with any other ideas! I just want fic about Joan and any or all of the above characters bonding and talking about their histories.
As an aside: If you want to, I am completely okay with you shipping Joan romantically with any or all of the above characters as well. All the Joan ships! Or not, because gen is super awesome cool too!
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man
I mentioned that I love family!fic above, and this is definitely a family!fic request. I'd like to see a story about Miles's family being together and loving each other. Maybe fic about Ganke coming with Miles for the Day of the Dead and staying over at the family graves, sharing stories about people they miss? Or it could be something like Ganke and Miles did a Bad Thing, and they get sat down by Jefferson or Rio for a heart to heart? Or hey, I'd love fic about separate scenes where Miles bonds with his important people separately! Maybe fic where Rio tugs Miles into the kitchen with her, and they bond over their family history in cooking, and then Miles huddles down to watch Jeopardy with his dad and see who can answer more questions, and later on, Ganke comes over and they play with Legos, because Legos are totally cool even when you're in high school.
Tl;dr: I'd love some gen fic about Miles bonding with his family members and generally being loved c:

This is the prompt where I beg you quietly for a specific fic, and feel extremely guilty about it.
Now, disclaimer: I love case!fic where John drags Chas around London and they get into trouble and end up in a pub or a ditch somewhere, smoking and drinking heavily and bitching at each other.
That said, if you're up for it, what I really, truly want is fic where John and Chas resolve decades long UST. Because they've been bitching at each other for years and years, and they have twisted their relationship in knots, and yet always watch each other's backs even after feeling supremely betrayed, and I ship it extremely hard. >>;
Whether it's because John's had a truth-spell put on him or because Chas is newly widowed and he's come to some realizations about his feelings or because the two of them are trapped in some life-or-death situations and there are last-minute confessions to be made or just because, I don't care how you do it as long as it's IC and full of delicious feelings and has a happy ending. Porn is also greatly appreciated but, of course, not required.
Blue Beetle (comics)
Oh hey, it's another request for family!fic. What a surprise (no one is surprised).
I love Jaime Reyes and I love his family and I love his supporting cast. Nothing would please me more than fic about him hanging out with the people he loves and just being happy with them. Give me fic about Jaime hanging out with Brenda and Paco at his home and making fun of old movies, or give me fic about Jaime babysitting Milagro and then screaming because she falls out of a tree and sprains her wrist, or maybe fic about Jaime going for a slow walk with his father to talk about the responsibilities that a man has towards his family, and that sometimes being a hero means living for other people, rather than dying for them.
Or just give me fic about Bianca Reyes being a badass. I'm cool with that too :D
