12 years

Yesterday was 12 years since i came to the US....feels like so much longer. Whenever someone used to ask me how long i am here, i used to always round off one year ahead, I dont know why... This anniversary feels so routine, we didn't even commemorate it in any way like we used to, my parents and I. That's probably not a very good sign. After

:) Nu dopustim Thanksgiving is all the way at the end of the month but i get what you're saying :) And i will go visit my parents this year as usual so we'll definitely drink to that.

I only came back 11 years ago, and it really does feel like Russia was in a totally different life...But, I guess, that's how life is...
