I'm grinning all over my face, admiring Imena. The profile of her face is lovely, and I really like her "quizzical" pose. The detail on the hems of her over-robe in that sketch really draws my eye--there's just enough there to set her usual "understated stylish" look.
Imena and Makhu dancing--eee!! You posed them beautifully--their bodies are for the most part complementing rather than matching each other, and that really gives them some lively energy. His left hand is turned out while hers is turned in, he's stepping forward on his right foot while she steps out to her left--I think she's going to spin to her left next. I love the little coin belt around her hips. The motion in that and her skirt really make the sketch into a dance. She and Makhu are such dynamic, creative dancers that they invent the steps as they go, and never fail to thrill an audience. Thank you so much for a sketch of them doing it!
One thing I'm enjoying, is that you're putting as much effort, research, and extrapolation into the artwork as we've put into the story -- We greatly appreciate your work for that, as well as your talent, and it makes us feel kinda special.
I don't give as detailed critiques as mfelizandy, but I agree with her comments!
