Beyond the Minuteman

Now that I've shaken off the winter cobwebs, so to speak, and drunk the clipless kool-aid, it might be time to try group rides somewhere. I haven't figured out cycling goals for the year (including whether to have cycling goals). And I did get your comments about the Quad rides, thanks. :)

If you've gone through the experience where you panic-brake to not hit the {squirrel, small child, little old lady, semi}, realize you're stopped but still attached to the bike, and very gracefully fall over, you're probably good on the clipless pedals.

My weekends tend to be pretty flexible unless I have commitments. I've more-or-less been biking one day and playing bridge the other, but very recently we've started playing two club bridge games on weeknights which gets up to the total amount of bridge I can sustainably handle, so there's some possibility I might go twice again this coming weekend. If there's a specific day you want to both show up for I can plan for it now.

Hmm. Right now the weather for Sunday looks better, so that's probably when I would go. I would appreciate the company and moral support, but feel free to make your own plans -- I'm frazzled this week, and not doing well in advance planning.
