Today I went ice skating for about half an hour, to see if it would be possible. I was motivated by three things

I went skating yesterday too! At the Icehouse, and then I laughed at the Melbourne Ice players practicing. And I could only skate very slowly and had to have a hand near the barrier for balance.

But it was the first time I'd ever gone ice skating and I didn't fall over! Yay for skating!

Do you have your own skates?

Yay! And bonus practice watching. It never occurred to me that you could go watch, although now I think about it of course it makes sense.
Blessed be the barrier, for it is something to clutch in times of need.

No, I rarely go so it's definitely not worth it! I rent them whenever I go.
