Ten Things I Have Done That Maybe You Haven't Yet

Jan 01, 2011 20:15

We all lead extraordinary lives.  Everyone one of us.  As one of my favorite characters recently said, "I've never met anyone who wasn't important." Everyone has done amazing things, we just forget them.  So, borrowing from Scarlettina and JayLake, here's my list of ten.

I bet you have an extraordinary list too, who ever you are.

1. Worked for the mafia.

2. Rode my bicycle down the middle of Fifth Ave in NYC at 3:00 am to Washington Square, have a drink, and then rode my bike back to West 110th.

3. Talk with Jack Nicholson about his horses.

4. Held a stranger's hand as they die.

5. Watch the ice in an arctic river break up in spring.

6. Eaten whale meat.

7. Lie under a freight train.

8. Watched the northern lights from the arctic circle.

9. Worked for a pornographer.

10. Owned a mansion and put it on the National Registry of Historic Places.
