Why is it that...

The greatpoets community gets filled up with mediocre contemporary poetry, and yet I'm the one that gets banned from posting in it? There is no justice in the world.

Yeah, W.B. Yeats? Anne Sexton? Who the fuck are these people, and what have they done with all the great poets? (By great poets, I mean ME.)

Haha, no, silly! I mean like Tony Hoagland and Charles Bukowski and those hundred or so poems centering around the word FUCK.

*sigh*... I liked it better when I was the only poet.

Also, I love the way everyone's comments are all like, "how pretttttttyyy!" "I like it!" "Awwww" and "I know JUST how the narrator feels because this happened to me with this guy last month blah blah blah blah blah "

Like, no one has any feedback because (hmm, here's an idea) NO ONE UNDERSTANDS IT AND THESE ARE THE EASY POEMS. OR MAYBE IT IS ACTUALLY SUCH TERRIBLE POETRY THAT IS SO BORING THAT ONCE YOU READ IT YOU ARE DONE WITH IT FOREVER BECAUSE IT ONLY HAS ONLY LAYER OF MEANING. OR MAYBE THERE'S NOTHING TO COMMENT ON ANYWAY BECAUSE MOST MODERN POETRY IS BORING, SELF-EXPLANATORY AND OVERTLY NARRATIVE- MORE LIKE BAD REALLY SHORT STORIES THAN POETRY AT ALL. OR MAYBE EVERYTHING I SAID ALL PUT TOGETHER.

Idiots.

They should rename the community MEDIOCREPOETS.

BTW, I am too exhausted from ranting to try to lay any of you bitches.

I do apologize, however, for ranting in your LJ, Anne Bradstreet.
Er- I mean, Emily Dickinson. I mean Liz Browning.

Hahah, yeah. We all got banned (everyone in abstract fakers) from commenting after anne_bradstreet uploaded "Beowulf" in its entirety in Old English as two consecutive posts (it wouldn't all fit into one).

LOL *laughs forever and ever*!!!! (NOT that I am encouraging you or anything...)You could have tried the Canterbury Tales... was Beowulf longer? *still laughing*

I was wondering what all that hullabaloo was(they erased every trace of you guys but there were still some comments of people complaining about trolls and spam) and why my real journal had been banned from the community... the mod told me that 6 on my friends list had been banned & they all had the same IP address...I found that hilarious and I knew you guys had been bad.
