I think you failed to see the point Daniel is making. Daniel was saying that he's tired of doing shit work but he sees where it is supposed to go. He's tired of the general behavior of the people with the cash - who do genuinely treat the others like have-nots. I know, I've worked for the same kind of people ( ... )

You have God to keep you from caring about this shit. I have no God to look forward to when i die, so i want the best for EVERYONE! Im not whining about the shit i have to do because, i dont mind it. The only thing i mind is that everything in this country is run by the upper class including politics so i will forever be getting second best of everything ( ... )

Religion has nothing to do with faith.

and that's all I've got to say about that.

I will say this, to think that Eamon, or Christ followers in general for that matter, don't CARE about these "issues" BECAUSE of God is an empty argument ( ... )

Eamon, you inspire me in ways you cannot imagine. Currently I'm taking advantage of 8 hour days and getting payed almost $8 an hour and I still live under my dad's roof. He pays for a lot of my food. He's been paying my gas until just recently now that I'm working. He's given my this computer that I'm typing this on. And he's done so many other things for me.

Soon, I'll be on my own. and soon I'll know what it's like to be a full-time student and have a job on the side. and it'll probably suck. But, I'll try and make the best of what I have. It could be worse; I may not have someone by my side constantly. I don't know how people live upset at so many things and completely by themselves and on their own. But, I guess there needs to be that balance.

When I get that crap job and I'm having a really crappy day, I'll know I can call you.

Thanks dude! I have found some of the biggest motivators for me as a man are a LACK of sympathy. I was recently complaining about getting shafted by the government and it's protection of tow companies and highway police. This older guy was like,"Man, that's terrible." But then I said something about not having enough money for my rent and insurance, and he said,'Look, we all have bills. Everybody deals with that. What can I do to help you with your problem?". It was like,"Dude, shut up, everyone goes through this, it won't kill you, stop whining."

They aren't references, they are facts of life that everyone winds up learning, and that look that the oldest of folks give you where you say something and they don't respond and just look off a bit and nod--it's a mixture of pity, regret, and knowing that you have to learn things for yourself--that they can't tell you.
