The Greens, hey?

So I've got a bit of a political party crush in the Greens at the moment - since Labor's divorce with Kev has broken my post-2007 Labor crush. And - prompted by a conversation at work today - I'm wondering: are they a party focussed on a tight and contiguous set of topics, or a full governmental alternative

They have policy on the best way to regulate Natural Monopolies (they're fans of state ownership, surprise!).
I'm not sure how thinks like that, Denticare and Same Sex marriage quite fit into the ecology framework (maybe if I squint a *lot*) but that inclines them toward the full governmental alternative bucket ...

I saw them this time around as presenting themselves as a cohesive 'could run the country' party for the first time myself this year. I'm also having a crush.
