My work makes me laugh, more often than not. We deal with some pretty nasty crime and some pretty nasty people, but usually we can find a way to laugh through it. Part of it is because my co-workers are smart, funny people, and part of it is because if we took all this seriously, we'd be wrecks. We Didn't See the Wizard
Back from my second trip to Seattle. The HLP and I had a lot of fun for only 26 hours. We hit two of the three veggie restaurants we wanted. (The third we literally walked a mile uphill in the rain to reach, only to find it closed.)

Descent into Geekery
I'm making another trip up to Seattle in a couple weeks, this time with the HLP. We'll be taking the train up and just staying one night, but it will be nice to get away. Not Dead, Just Sleeping
After the craziness that was March, I think I needed the last couple weeks of sloth to recover. Last weekend, I did nothing more strenous than going to the grocery store, and I came home and took a nap after that.

After waiting in vain for “The Resident” to come out in theaters, I finally got it on DVD via Netflix. I considered just buying it outright to get it faster, but now I’m glad I didn’t.

Clash of the Champions Eve
