 I am so disappointed but not sure how what I witnessed this morning could be fixed.  I grew up with 5 brothers and while I was into makeup and considered a "ditzy blonde" by friends and classmates, I always excelled and enjoyed Math and Science subjects.  I began my college education with the objective of majoring in psychology.  I was into doing

Definitely make it a point to get out and talk to groups about what you do. Role modeling is so important and can be a wonderful encouragement to young girls.

I loved math, but only saw it as a teaching profession. Engineering never crossed my mind, even though I was one who was not afraid to take apart anything to fix it.
