Rented a car and drove to Corvallis for a rehearsal last night. It was nice to drive a vehicle in good shape, enjoy the relaxing and uneventful Interstate (5), and listen to music. Rehearsal was fine, a fun piece by Martinů called La Revue de Cuisine. Another rehearsal on Wednesday, performance on Thursday. Then back to Astoria for the weekend for ( Read more... )

COOKING UTENSILS??? Wow! That peice looks pretty interesting, actually. So can you define marriage as a union of two utensils? One pot and one lid? Sorry, that was just too hard to resist.

Sound like you're having quite a summer, but a beautiful one. Astoria is so lovely.

Andrew and I just got back from Seattle. At one point we were on Queen Anne and we watched G. Schwarts jogging by!

The Martinu is awesome, and a lot of fun. Definitely recommended.

It was nice to hear you guys had such a good time in Seattle!

Ummm I hate you. I want to lose 5 lbs ;o) Especially during the summer.. ugh.

I hear you about summer. Losing weight isn't easy with all these quasi-vacations...
