Around this time of year, I think there is a tendency to want to sum up what is essentially an arbitrary unit of time in one's personal life. Nevertheless, I'm still trying to figure out what last year even was. I guess perhaps I should start by trying to figure out the last few weeks since my last update

So while I'm upset about having to wear clothes more, I think that there is a nice tradeoff.

haha yes, the perks of living alone. my new roommate and i have decided to just make sure to keep common areas clean. except i've already broken that agreement because i rushed to move out of my old apartment before heading to the airport for my flight back here, so i have a lot of cleaning to do. i am, however, pretty excited to get rid of old things, but i have a really difficult time letting things go. i mean, really amanda, do you need that little slip of paper someone you used to be really close to doodled on?

Yeah, I keep stuff like that too. It's hard to decide where the line is, what goes and what stays. I think that between myself and my new roommate, we can keep the living room clean and just destroy our bedrooms. There are seperate bathrooms in the place I hope to move to, and neither of us cook so the kitchen should be OK...
