There is a lot to write, as always, and I'll play catch-up later. I was just in NYC for the week, auditioned for the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. It went well, but no luck. Anyway, I didn't really want the job, it was for fun - and it was. Also saw old friends and ate good food. Back in PDX. Tired and disoriented.

So you audition for fun? That's crazy! It's hard enough (but I guess not with your experience). What was your requirements for the audition anyway?
