Good list of coincidences, except that:
(a) Booth was born in 1838, not 1839;
(b) He wasn't assassinated, but shot by the soldiers who were trying to arrest him.

Did you happen to know that, or just reading more on Booth.

Will you correct or report this mistake? I think it's good to improve Wikipedia whenever one sees an obvious error. (I'll do it if you really don't want to.) It's an inconsistency between their entries, so doesn't need new sources.

(b) just means they'll have to change "assassinated" to "were shot before they came to trial". (a) makes the coincidences less impressive.

I happened to know it, from reading the Snopes page on said coincidences a little while ago. Yes, do please correct it on Wikipedia -- I don't have an account there.

Mm, I'm not sure why it is that stacked coincidences should be appealing, but this set clearly are.
