Did you stay up? I listened to NPR for about half an hour after we got back (much better than the crappy TV coverage) then went to sleep. The radio came on (still set to NPR), the first phrase I heard this morning was 'President-Elect Obama'
We were up till 5:30am, when the result had been called, McCain had conceded, and President Elect Obama had spoken. He didn't reveal his true lizard identity. Perhaps he's biding his time in case it leads to unfaithful electors.
Thank you for coming to the party. I'm sorry there was so little room for you to watch comfortably.
