It's Inauguration Day, and reality has finally caught up with The West WingI thought it would be interesting to compare the election campaign and transition portrayed in the last two seasons of The West Wing with the events of the last year. Thanks for spotting that and pointing it out. I'd wondered why it was on iPlayer, when it was broadcast last year - they are repeating it.

It's good to know since I prefer to watch TV on my TV.

The cellist Yo-yo Mar who I'd only heard of thanks to Bartlet and who is now playing at the inauguration

Yes, that's what I was thinking. Pity the BBC insisted on talking over it and some of the speaches. Can they ever shut up?
