Evidence of kitten unseen

After jackfirecat heroically agreed to attempt to acclimatise to cat allergens, after helpful advice from many people, and after positive vetting by Cats Protection (by phone and then by a home visit, which will be followed up by a further check-up later), we now have a kitten! emily_shore and I went with Arshad, our cat advisor, to see the kitten we were offered, ( Read more... )

Sure, but I think you need to be kitten sized to meet him where he's hanging out at the moment. We tried peeking, but he's clearly well-hidden.

Hrm.. not sure I could manage kitten-sized! Maybe when he's feeling a little braver? Does he have the run of the house, or just the living room and kitchen so far? (Not that it sounds like he's running very far yet..)

We're starting him out in the living room and kitchen. Then we'll add the piggery (conservatory) and then the rest of the house. From what I've read, that is the best way to get a kitten acclimatised to a new house.

I thought Jack and Arthur got on just fine, but may have forgotten allergies. In any case, all houses need pets, especially cats. Good decision :-) And he is cute.
