The Cure - their lyrics make beautifully depressing poetry (a far cry from the upbeat pop I was listening to)
What is a good memory concerning 2?:
Having seen them live the most, all memories of them are good! But I was surprised that I was still so impressed with them when I saw them live with M in March 2005 and I was screaming, jumping and singing along with the crowd.

Dear Jessie - it's a song sung to a little girl called Jessie and asking her to imagine a lovely place "Pink elephants and lemonade, dear Jessie see the roses, raining on the love parade..."

How did you become a fan of 10?:
M played What Else is There? and I listened to the whole album (The Understanding) and liked a lot of it so I think I'll track down more of their stuff.
