That thought had never occurred to me before now. I always post about successes etc. so that I can have a permanent record to look back on. And I'd think that my friends would be happy about it rather than thinking I'm biggin' myself up unnecessarily. Personally, I love reading about others' successes!
Thirdly, do you know anyone who can honestly say that they've used their time effectively in every facet of their life?

I agree with you on the posting about successes. I do it for the same reasons you do and I like reading about other ppl's, too. Beats the constant angst :P In fact, the ppl I perceive as holding the opinion of ppl being boastful; I don't really care about their opinion anymore anyway.
Well socially I used my time very effectively ;) I think I just wish I could spend less time stuffing around (procrastinating) and more time actually being productive. But yeah, no-one can be productive every waking hour...

I don't know why but I was surprised to find someone who actually looked back on their resolutions but I suppose that is the whole point. Good for you!

Well I'm not usually such an anal person but I always seem to want to achieve a lot. I think this is mainly due to me being in the music industry and having no distinctive career path; not me trying to be an overachiever :P So I think examining my resolutions is a way of keeping track of my productivity (esp. in my "spare" time).
When we played Shortcake Walk at orchestra last night, I was thinking about your posted opinion of the piece, hahahahaha
