What is greater than God, More evil than the devil, The poor have it, The rich need it, And if you eat it, you'll die?

Let's see if anyone knows the answer!

actually, not really... I just answered the first question in the most common-sense way and then tried to fit in the answer for the rest of them. And it fit ) I guess the difficulty for us, adults, is not to overcomplicate things ) Time was on my side ) I came about your riddle when my mind was so tired that it couldn't produce any thoughts besides the most limited and primitive ones.
