If anyone wants one of these, I bought the shop's pattern book so I'll be making some soon! For myself, a black and turquiose mohawk is in order.

I'd totally send you the pattern if I didn't feel bad about copyright laws :S But it is essentially a basic earflap hat with lots of fringe at the top, felted and agitated to hell to get the funky mohawk look.

Is the whole hat made of feltable yarn or just the fringe? Does the fringe have to be out of a certain sort of yarn or does it not matter as long as it's feltable?

It's all made of feltable wool, they use Lamb's Pride Bulky for it.
