Headhunter sounds like a more adult/demented version of Inkheart. A bookbinder reads people in and out of one particular book though, and in the sequel, Inkspell, his daughter reads herself into the novel. It's a pretty awesome trilogy, though it can be a bit dry in spots. I blame that on the fact that it was originally written in German, and the translator though. The film was so-so, but doesn't really do the novel justice. Fun Fact: Cornelia Funke, the author of Inkheart/Inkspell/Inkdeath had Brendan Fraser in mind as the bookbinder when she wrote the novels, and was pleased as punch to have him in the film. :)
