Ea, what fabulous photographs! I've always heard that Iceland was a beautiful place to visit. The hot springs intrigue me. Did you go there?

Thank you - I do my best ;)

I didn't exactly try to bathe in any of the places where that is possible (there weren't really time), but I saw a lot of what you could call evidence of geothermal activity. I have some photos where you can see the steam rising from the ground - and a photo of Snorri Sturlasons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snorri) hot-tub from early medieval times (restored in the 19th century though). And of course my second last photo of this blog post, is also a hot spring of a sort - though not a place you'd want to bathe, unless you were suicidal :D

Such a wild place, and fascinating. I'm glad you were able to have that adventure, even though it wasn't for long enough. Thanks for sharing your photos.

It's never long enough, is it? :D But then, for me, vacation means exploring and experiencing - not sitting still in one place. Got the photos from the Faeroes sorted BTW ( next blog post).
