Ok so I need to get used to this I think. It's the first full weekend in a while that it's been just me and the kittens. It's a strange mixture of boredom and soul crushing loneliness. I have a notion to get my lap top upstairs but I don't have the spirit to get up and move. I have accomplished what I wanted. I mowed the rest of the back yard today

I agree. It isn't pitiful at all. If things continue like they have been, then maybe sit down and have a talk with him. Find out what is going on and such. Let him know how you feel. Being open and honest is important in any relationship (especially friendship). *hugs*
