Crispin's Housewarming

Feb 14, 2004 10:19

Yet another cool Friday night - many excellent people were met: Mary-Anne (is this spelling correct?), Renee, Dr Paul the Venetian drink producer and his lovely other half (yes, I AM hopeless with names, sorry), Julian, Mia, and the striking girl in Lucy whose name I've forgotten for the 5th time :/ Good to see Chris and Crispin again too ( Read more... )

There really should be a law against 'Australian Idols' anywhere, let alone on Rage!!
You were close in the spelling, it's Marianne. Oh, and Ali is the other half of Paul. It was a great party! LJ's are good, it's bizarre, I got into my LJ through a web comic and the forum attached to it, so I knew, up until last night, almost no-one who had an LJ (in Australia, anyway). So strange to actually know people who have one now! Yay!

I got into it through people I knew, resisting the idea every step of the way (like today, I've spent 3 hours sitting in front of the puter, which is mildly annoying yet so much fun), but it's fast overtaking email as a preferred way to communicate :) Maybe I'm just lazy - it's SO easy.

The other social site that's taken off this past week with people I know is orkut.com. My name is Debbie Wilson if you want to check it out.

And thanks for setting me straight on Ali!

I have added you to the exclusive friends list. It was good to see you the other night. Yay for drunken shenanegans. :)

I am honoured. Drunken antics. . .nay, I was stone cold sober the whole time, really ;)

It occurred to me on Saturday though, that the more people who are added to the friends list, the more entries one has to wade through when logged in. Maybe people with say, 30 friends listed, only have friends who post once a month. . .either that, or they spend their life online. It's all so tricky. . .
