Ziva had woken up this morning in her normal human state - her naked normal human state, but that was an entirely separate issue - and aside from the lingering desire for a salad, she was feeling no effects from her transformation

There was a knock on the door as Gibbs appeared, coffee in hand.

"Heard you were a gazelle," he said showing some amusement on his face.

Of course he would have heard about it. Nothing ever got past Gibbs.

"I do not wish to talk about it," she said, before adding, "This place is more strange than I expected."

"I was a dog," Gibbs said with a shrug and placed one of the cups of coffee in front of Ziva before taking a sip of his own. "And Tony had to take care of me. I'd rather not talk about it either."

"Has Tony turned into anything strange?" Ziva asked, unable to stop herself as she took the offering of coffee.

Come on, hot new Driver's Ed teacher? Barney already in the building? No way he wasn't saying hello.

"Hey, can I borrow your stapler?" Barney asked, hanging in the doorway, broken stapler in hand. It had taken 12 minutes to sufficiently jam enough staples into the contraption.

Ziva glanced up and took a good look at the stapler he was holding. "What happened to yours?" she asked. "I do not believe it should look like that."

"Jammed up," he told her. "Guess it didn't want to help me post my student's work on the walls." Because he soooo cared about his students!

"Really? What kind of work have they been doing?" Ziva asked, offering him her stapler.
