Ziva wasn't sure how many of her students had parents or family members who were in town, but the principal had said to be in their offices in case people had questions for them, so here she sat, going through a week's worth of international newspapers to fill her time.

"You know Jethro told me I might find you here," came a familiar voice at the door. "Even if the Ziva I know just happens to be back at the Navy Yard working on a case."

"Ducky?" Ziva said with a smile. "You're a very pleasant surprise. Did you come to see Gibbs?"

"The one of apparently several if I'm to believe Gibbs's explanation," Ducky replied. "I must say the idea there are several dimensions which all have a version of me is quite strange. I have yet to run into Tony but I've been told he has one too. And yes, I am here to visit Jethro though there is only so much time one can sit around an unfinished boat."

To her credit, she was getting much better at remaining neutral at mentions of Tony. "I believe we would all be worse off if we did not have our own versions of you," she said. "You do not wish to perhaps help Gibbs finish his boat? Or should the boat perpetually remain undone?"

A tall, slender and pointy eared young woman came in, looking the office over.

"Excuse me I'm looking for Ziva David?"

"I am Ziva," she said, setting her paper down. "May I help you?"

"My name is Crystaviel. Leda's parents asked me to come down this weekend and check up on her."

"Oh! It is a pleasure to meet you," she said. "Leda is a wonderful student."
