Web 2.0 and 3.0

Has anyone heard these names before to describe the interwebs? For the record I have and am going to be posting some thoughts based on a series of PD sessions I have been attending, but I am interested to see who has actually heard them before and what they believe them to mean.

I've heard of both, but don't have a clue what Web 3.0 really is. I'm not actually sure it's been well defined by the industry yet.

Yo!
I've not come accross Web 3.0 before...
...but wasn't there a meme going around a few years ago that Al Gore reckoned that he invented Web 2.0?

I've heard of web 2.0 and have heard it used to mean web pages with lots of user interactivity. No idea about web 3.

Web 1.0 is normal webpages. You can read them and maybe search them but you can't affect the content.
Web 2.0 is interactive webpages (wikis, blogs, etc) where the user can interact with and change the content.
Web 3.0 is ... I guess its whatever comes next...
