Intuos 3 tablet

May 29, 2009 12:50

Okay, I feel particularly stupid for asking this. In 7 years of having tablets, I've never had to change the nib and I can't seem to find the manuel for the intuos 3 on Wacom's website.

Anyone could explain to me how to change the nib? *laughs* please?

You mean the top of the pen?
It's simpler then you think (I recently also changed it).

You just grab the point of the pen (the tip) and pull it out and replace it with another one. But the point is a bit slippery, so you might want to use something like pliers to grab it and gently pull it out. It surprised me a bit that you don't have to open the pen at all :D

If you don't have the little tool to pull it out with fingernail clippers work PERFECT! Just don't clamp to hard and give the tip a 'trim' lols ^^
