Wow annie! it's looking great :) Thanks so much for sharing the tip about the pen too! I've been painting colored lines in acrylic with a very small brush, didn't think to do it any other way. I'm so going to look into this pen and liquid acrylics!

Thank you so much Lisa!

And it's a pleasure really! Just passing along the info that was so kindly given to me! Saved me so much time! And if you are not sure about using nibs, you could also use the liquid ink with a brush. The great part of this is that the ink will not thicken in the bottle. Or at least, it hasn't yet in my bottles, so I'm guessing it would be easier to paint lines with the ink than it is with acrylics like I used to do.

I was intrigued by this as well! Would it work in a technical pen, I wonder? I've never used nibs in a holder (thinking that may be easier clean up?)...

Hmm! :D

Thank you for posting the progress! I love seeing art come together. :D

It does work with pens like the Sakura Micron or the Staedler's equivalent. But these pens don't offer a wide range of colors, only 3-4 at best, and the black of a technical pen is never as black as Speedball ink. (if you use an eraser on top of your inked line with the technical pen, the line will fade too. Not so great)

But yes, it does work. =) Just make sure the ink is waterproof and it will be okay.

I adore this piece! You are so amazing at watercolors I wish I had that kind of skill. I know this will be beautiful when it is done.

Thank you very much Ash! I still have lots and lots to learn about watercolour though! I still have a hard time with it! It's not an easy medium (at least for me ahah)

Oh, WOW. You are really very, very good with your tools, and since it's a good picture to start with... I am so impressed with you.
