Don't get me wrong, I do love freelancing. It gives me liberty to organize my schedule, to not have a boss watching my back if I take a 5 minutes break and a bunch of other great advantages ( Read more... )

Get some fingerless gloves they are lifesavers. If you get elbow length ones they cover your arm AND you can still paint. I feel your pain ;)

I can highly recommend having an electric blanket to shove your feet under. Just heating up your extremities works wonders.

a small heater might look like a good alternative but look out for your electricity bill afterward. If you keep it on for too long during the day, it'll end up being more expensive than just having your room temperature at 21...
Try the blanket and the cocoa others mentioned first. Or go outside for your 5 minutes break. You'll see it'll feel great and warm once you go back inside!!! Gotta love Quebec ;)
