OMG.  I have just made the mistake of watching two hour Discovery Channel special on sharks.  OMG.  Do not go into the water.  You WILL die.

And what is the number 1 place to get bitten?  Florida, of course.  No, South Africa is only #2.  Way, way behind Florida.

I think this might be the scariest thing I've ever watched.

Today has just been the worst day.  It didn't start out that bad, but then on a break during my 3-hour long religion class I got this frozen mocha drink from The Daily Grind.  And it took them forever to make the drinks and there was a line in front of me, so I was like 10 minutes returning to class after the break.  And my class had changed rooms ( Read more... )

So I just read in my State & Local Government class textbook that Tennessee is the 2nd worst state for women in the union.  We only beat Mississippi.  That's right, even god-forsaken places like Louisiana beat us.  It's very humiliating.

So a provision in the immigration bill that passed today in the Senate makes English the national language.  I'm so pissed.  Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that the Senate finally saw reason and is allowing earned legalization for the 11-12 million illegal immigrants currently in this country.  But English as the National Language (sorry, I have to ( Read more... )

I thought it was interesting how the first hour of the Grey's Anatomy finale was action-packed, while the 2nd hour was more emotional and less dramatic. It only made the 2nd hour seem really anti-climatic. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. But still, it was the not best episode ever. Definitely nowhere near as good as the Super Bowl episode.
