My View on White Scholarship

Kids just need to pick up a book and study their ass off, and strive to achieve the best grades available!! I think very low of a person that feels he/she needs a scholarship based upon race when they are fully capable of more studious scholarship that test and reflect their honest knowledge rather than their race or gender. There aren't an infinite number of merit-based scholarships and sometimes any scholarship -- merit, race-based, legacy-based, parents' employers -- is the only way a child is going to attend college.

The opportunity to attend college is entirely too valuable to get caught up in debates over the value of race-based versus merit-based scholarships -- trust me, you'll have to be plenty motivated to get the grades to stay in school and graduate.
