This sickens me. I can't believe people can still be so cruel, and that this horrible mentality still exists to such a great extent. Reading something like this reminds me just how much further we still have to go to become a civilised world. I really feel for these people, I really do.

I know! In some ways it seems like we've grown so much, and then this type of thing comes to light and the awfulness we can exhibit just comes rushing back. I have never and will never understand why people can't just let others love.

But I believe getting these stories out there and showing the ugliness that occurs can only help to change the system and make our society better. We've got to get better. *sigh*
