Rooibos Tea

Over the weekend I bought this tea.  Rooibos is apparently a bush that grows in Western Africa that has long been used for beverages in that area.  Now, aficionados make all sorts of health claims for this tea, for everything from curing allergies to settling the digestive system to treating eczema.  Well, I have been taking an interest in more of ( Read more... )

I don't know anything about the supposed health benefits, but I like the taste. I just got two bags of rooibos from a local shop, one with fruit and one with some spices (cinnamon? haven't tried that one yet). I don't do caffeine so I drink a lot of herbal tea.

Yeah, I don't do caffeine either. I also don't know if my success with this tea has more to do with me being such a lightweight. I'd be interested to hear if you have the same experience.

I've drunk a bunch of it in the past and never noticed it making much of a difference in my life. I wish it helped with congestion.
