Ok, I just saw the worst movie ever. It's called Tristan and Isolde. Good Lord....
I don't even know where to begin, seriously. But I'll start with why not just name the court Camelot? Seriously, this movie was just taken straight from the Once and Future King. T.H. White is rolling over in his grave because this movie beat his ideas to a pulp. Poor man....Tristan can't act. He can brood, he can fight, but act, no way in hell. There is one more thing that Tristan can do. HE CAN CRY! I should have played Tristan the drinking game. Take a shot every time he cries. He also died a total of 13 times...THIRTEEN! Good lord, it was ridiculous. He'd fight, then brood, then cry, and then died. Repeat twelve more times. That was the movie.
The movie seems like it will have potential, until he leaves Ireland the first time. Then it died. Seriously, this had the beginnings of a good movie. It died really quickly. REAL quickly. Isolde was fine. She was a good actress and seemed to fit the part. But, not Tristan. It really was King Arthur. There was no other way to describe this movie.
I was the only girl to walk out of that theatre not to say "AW! That's so sad!" Kyle, John, and I had to run out of the theatre in order to not get beaten because we weren't going to cry. The gaggles of girls were going to get us. The difference between the gaggles of girls and hoardes of girls is that a gaggle is one group of girls and a hoarde is a group of gaggles of girls. I think Kyle and John were the only guys in the theatre. Ugh, I wanted to cry, just like Tristan, except it would have been from boredom.
The only redeeming qualities was the scenery. The scenery was really cool. The few shots of Ireland were amazing. The costuming wasn't bad either. Even though the Irish king's shirt was really shiny. Speaking of shiny, Tristan's hair! They used glitter hairspray! Oh jeez, it was ridiculous. It was shiny and belonged in a Britney Spears video. Oh boy. I'm sorry, but I can't handle it. It really was the worst movie ever. I could rant about it some more, I really could. But I have better things to do right now.
That's all....
