Stolen happiness will not endure. Shortcuts in ethics won't earn you peace. Life lived for yourself only is a life lost.

Thanks guys. This is more private musing though - I am trying NOT to pray misery for mine enemies - to not fall into the same emptiness they dwell. And trying to remind myself that malicious and unjust action will always be its own punishment. Sounds a bit grand I know, but I don't want to go for tmi...
