I finished listening to To Say Nothing of the Dog today. Thanks for the tip, penwiper337! It was a fun read/listen. I am now going to listen to the Southern Vampire series starting with the first one. I listened to one or two a few years ago, but they were in the middle of the series. The earlier ones weren't available on audio at that time. Thanks to True

I love reading anything by Connie Willis. She's one of my favorites. If you haven't, listen or read her short story collection Impossible Things. I come back to it every couple of years.

I love anything by Connie Willis. Try her short story collection Impossible Things. I go back to it every couple of years. Buzz is reading Twilight and I have co-workers who are gaga over it. I figure I'll try it, but I've never gotten into the genre.

I really liked Doomsday Book. I'll add Impossible Things to my list. Heck, I'll just add all her books!

Funny thing is, I do like the genre and couldn't get into Twilight. You should try Marked. I think you will enjoy what she does with it. It's not a long book.

I bet you'll enjoy Dead Until Dark. Those books really should be read in order; you'd miss out on a lot by mixing them up.

I haven't read P.C.Cast, but it's on my "If you liked Twilight" list at work. It's a cunning ploy to ease readers into better writing - bwaha!

Thanks. I am planning to buy the series at some point because I adore the cover artwork. Unfortunately, the boxed set has a new cover for the first book and it's way expensive to buy just the 1st one!
