A couple of years ago we set ourselves a year-long project to add one green step to our lifestyle each month. We were mostly successful and are still doing most of them. One failure became apparent recently. The cotton shower curtain was getting very orange and full of mildew spots despite wringing it out daily and washing it frequently. So I ( Read more... )

I thought of you earlier today! The May issue of This Old House had an idea section, and someone had put up shelves in their bathroom for their rubber ducky collection (and they had a Rubber Ducky shower curtain, probably much like the one you just bought). It was a very whimsical-looking bathroom. When there are duckies, you just have to smile :-)

I'll have to look for that issue at the library! Eldred put up a shelf in the bathroom a while back for part of the duckie collection. I still love the duckie bathroom theme after several years of it. :-)

Perfect timing :) I will have to buy a new curtain for the bathroom I'll be moving into and now I know what I'll be getting (not the duckies, but they have plain clear in the same material which is what I like to have)

Evidently, Target and Walmart have eva vinyl shower curtains too. There is something called PEVA that might be even better.
