Long time passing...

Ah, as you might have anticipated, another examination post.

The good news is that, if I've passed this exam, there aren't any more left. I had my case study this morning - final admitting exam for chartered accountancy.

The bad news is that I have significant doubts over whether I've passed the exam.

The good news is that this doubt does not appear to be an isolated instance for me - Mum says she can't remember an exam I've passed, according to me.

The bad news is that my mocks have offered up no real comfort, given that I've failed a couple of them.

The good news is I'm not alone - kauket had an exam today as well (hugs to kauket).

The bad news is that if I fail I don't get my promotion and lose bucketloads of cash, plus I need to wait all the way until next summer to retake the exam.

The good news is that there is an 80% pass rate.

The bad news is that I have to wait until the middle of December to find out if I've managed to penetrate the elite 80% or if I'm one of the lemons who failed.

Other than that, my life is spent on motorways between Kent and Slough and talking in panicked fashion to estate agents and lawyers about house purchases/sales.

Does anyone know how to put up one of those LiveJournal poll thingies? I think an LJ poll would be an excellent way to decide which industry group to specialise in.
